The Role: FP&A Manager
Contract: PAYE
Salary: £55,000 – £60,000 base (£246 – 267 p/d)

This role is to support CFMs by creating P&L based on various scenarios focusing on Sales Deduction (customer commercial support).
The aim of this role is to simulate P&L capturing transactions company plans with customers and thereby lead the relevant partners’ decision-making. The role will also cover month-end closing for Sales Deduction.
Responsibilities:
Financial planning
- The end goal of this role is to draft & produce the P&L by collating scenario plans with full knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards). The candidate should be able to capture the transaction nature and should be able to substantiate it into P&L standalone.
- They should be able to discuss with Sales Director, Commercial Finance Manager and Business Strategy Director regarding deals and how it should be feedback into P&L and B/S when a business makes Sales Deduction (Sales Allowance, Rebate) decisions.
- Provide the relevant and timely information of P&L updates to partners and monitor adherence to the P&L versus actual operation.
- Develop, implement and maintain an effective planning and analysis capability that will provide all partners to measure the performance of the relevant business at the division level.
- Ensure the integrity of P&L modelling and projections through the implementation of suitable controls and documentation.
- The success of the role depends on the accuracy of P&L drafting and at the same time speed of the turnaround as it the forecasting process happens within a limited timeframe to accommodate the global timeline. Find opportunities/risks to the above plan and flag such aspects to the partners including senior management teams in TV and DA.
Project reporting & Investment Appraisal
- Modelling the financial impact of business proposals/plans.
- Aid in the creation and development of ad-hoc financial models and analysis to assist and support strategic initiatives and business cases.
- This role requires high analytical skills and will receive many ad-hoc requests from business/finance partners in terms of deal interpretation from IFRS accounting standards.
Quantitative performance reporting
- Produce regular financial reporting to give an overview of business and financial performance. Highlight trends, key actions, and financial/accounting implications.
- Build strong relationships with business partners to help ensure CE Commercial Finance Team is well informed re: business status and has a strong voice in the organisation.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of P&L & Financial Analysis & Modelling experience
- Commercial Finance Background
- Large Company experience
- Qualified or Nearly-Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) with proven experience in accounting or industry finance
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
- Excellent analytical skills to understand business drivers and interpret financial results
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively at all levels, get key messages across succinctly and work with others
- Consistent record in demonstrating accountability and ownership; a proactive approach
