PhD Graduate Software Engineer
PhD Graduate C++ Software Engineer is required for a growing innovation company in Cork, Ireland. As Graduate C++ Software Engineer you will work in physical verification software development, algorithm development, software debugging, performance optimization and accuracy analysis. Working within a highly collaborative team of EDA professionals you will create and deliver best in class next generation software for physical IC applications.
As PhD Graduate Software Engineer you will have the opportunity to work across complex applications and interface them with other applications in a large suite of high connected applications to enable next-generation physical verification solutions with superior performance and usability. Engineers develop code that satisfies the requirements for successful semiconductor design deployment. On a continuous basis the Graduate C++ Software Engineer will have the opportunity to pick up skills working across physical verification PERC applications, as well as physical implementation methodologies, to guide the accuracy, performance and functionality enhancements within my client’s physical verification suite of products.

**Due to tax reasons, candidates must be open to relocate to Cork in Ireland and work remotely there to begin with until their offices re-open nearby.**
PhD Graduate Software Engineer permanent profile required.
- Must have recently graduated with a PhD or graduated and also have at least one years’ commercial experience in software development using C++/C with a focus in working/studying across complex algorithms and performance on Linux platforms.
- Experiences in graph algorithms and computational dynamics with an aptitude for out-of-the-box thinking and problem solving.
- TCL language development experience in projects/study is advantageous, but not essential. Experiences in deck development for LVS or PERC is a plus but not expected.
- Have recently attained a Master’s Degree in Electronics Engineering, Physics or Computer Science.
