The Role: RAN Performance and Optimisation Experience Engineer
Contract: PAYE – 12-Month Contract

Our client is looking for a RAN Performance and Optimisation Experience Engineer to Lead engineers within the team responsible for the trial, FOA and deployment of new Software and Hardware features.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the definition, reporting and presentation of KPI associated with each new feature.
- Responsible for customer engagement on Performance and Optimisation items associated with new features trial and deployment.
- Provide expert-level knowledge and expertise on Performance and Optimisation for Samsung customers.
- Ensure the successful application and acceptance of new software and hardware across one or more Samsung customers.
- Propose optimisation and performance improvements as part of regular improvement plans.
- To raise awareness of Samsung Network service capabilities within the RAN technology arena.
- You will be responsible for the performance of the Samsung NE towards one or more of our key customers.
- Act as the main point of contact for Performance and Optimisation activities, developing and maintaining excellent customer relationships from the outset
- You will evaluate RAN KPI and propose improvement actions, ensuring the highest quality of delivery throughout
- You will be responsible for the performance of our partner organisations, which will support Samsung in excelling in the optimisation of our network.
- You will work closely with our customers in defining the acceptance metrics and procedures, working towards the achievement of those KPI
- Ensure close co-operation and support liaison with Samsung R&D and other Samsung functions.

Hard skills:
- Experience in Radio Performance and Optimisation role.
- Educated to Degree Level, preferably in Telecoms, Electronics or Computer Science or equivalent vocational qualification/experience.
- Excellent Knowledge of 3G/4G/5G networks and optimisation techniques
- Proven experience and knowledge of other vendors’ 4G/5G RAN systems.
- Experience in database administration and/or highly proficient in SQL-based queries.
- Excellent reporting and presentation skills. Able to prepare and deliver presentations to a high standard within tight timescales.
- Fluent in spoken and written English
