Contract: 12 month FTC (scope to go perm)

Salary: £30-35k

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our PMO team working on a number of wide-ranging projects identified by the team as strategic to the success of the business. The ideal Project Manager requires a level of business acumen and a willingness to actively get involved to work on and deliver the projects as well as coordinate other resources.

As a Project Manager you will be an agent for change within the business, looking for opportunities to improve current processes / implement new ones to allow the business to continue to operate efficiently and continue to thrive. The nature of the role and the projects within the organisation is one of continuous change and so as a Project Manager you will be comfortable working in a fast paced environment where project scopes may change or not completely be defined at the outset.

As a Project Manager you will be working full-time, Monday – Friday based from home but a ‘virtual first’ option will also be considered should you wish to regularly visit our head office location in Aldershot, Hampshire. This is a 12-month fixed term contract with the potential of becoming permanent after this initial period.

 

The role involves:

  • Creation and maintenance of project plans, actions, risks and issues and reporting
  • Running and supporting Strategic projects by managing day to day operational aspects of the projects
  • Working closely with stakeholders (often senior management) to secure resources and ensure effective and efficient implementation of projects
  • Positive approach to dealing with customers is key

 

Essential skills/qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 yrs industry experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects at one time
  • Adherence to standards
  • Ability to handle non-routine queries and resolve issues
