The Role: Senior Functional SAP HCM Consultant German
Contract: 5-month contract
Salary: 900-950 euros per day
Location: Europe (Remote)
Start date: ASAP
As an SAP Payroll Functional Consultant in Germany, you will be key in ensuring all client configuration requirements are correct. You will have ownership of the technical and functional implementation of client projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional workstreams to support and guide data migrations and operational activities.
Specific tasks include:
- Partnering with our clients to understand their current payroll requirements to propose effective company solutions
- Understanding client business issues and constraints and recommending the best solutions
- Capture and document client requirements as appropriate and create the relevant work packages according to the agreed-signed of solutions
- Leading the Solution design, review and alignment of deliverables to ensure we deliver on time and in-scope
- Ensure that lessons learned activities from a functional and technical point of view are completed
- Provide deliverables and project objectives to functional and technical resources assigned to the project
- Document any deviations from company standards and report them to the project team
- Providing subject matter expertise for all SAP payroll-related technical and functional issues in the country
- Provide subject matter expertise to all technical and functional resources assigned in the project
- Act as the primary escalation point within the project for all project issues related to functional implementation
- Ensure proficiency and quality in the configuration, use and deployment of OM/PA/PY/TM modules in the project currently assigned with
- Implementation Standards and Thought Leadership
- Partnering with internal cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery
- Mentoring project resource
- Support the Sales and Pre-Sales teams where needed
- Working with the payroll implementation team on the build of the system
Requirements:
- Demonstrate exceptional SAP Payroll Functional and Technical implementation and configuration experience in German Payroll
- Have extensive experience leading a project team delivering SAP Payroll implementations for country-specific clients
- Have an exceptional understanding of country-specific Payroll legislation and practices
- Have experience in a consulting role within a payroll technology environment
- Demonstrate excellent analytical capabilities and have an eye for detail
- Be highly organized and able to prioritize effectively in a fast-moving environment
- Be a natural communicator and have the ability to build successful relationships with clients and teams
- Have excellent written and verbal skills in German and English
