Senior Java Developer are sought by an international financial services company for their London Team, to join a highly decorated Software Engineering team. Currently my client is at an exciting point of their evolution and have invested in their technology resources and are continuing to scale; consequentially they require several Senior Java Software Engineer to impact their mission in innovating their Back-End systems.

As Senior Java Software Engineer you will be accountable for engineering scalable micro-services solutions which will be deployed within an AWS platform. As an instrumental member of the Cloud Platform team you will collaborate with product colleagues and drive best-in practise in coding efficiency/performance and scalability of Cloud applications utilising Java and Spring Boot framework. If you are open to acquire abilities in Kubernetes if you already do not have this as well as work across NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, working to deploy efficient code which can scale and are an advocate of world-class practise then this could the opportunity for you.

Requirements:

  • Accomplished abilities in Java, Spring Boot and Microservices architectures and ideally distributed systems.
  • Ideally have exposure to CI/CD initiatives utilising Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Fundamentals in benchmarking performance and loads in driven by user behaviour and loads would be ideal.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and collaborative skills with international teams previously.
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer/Electrical/Software Engineering or similar.
  • Must be happy to be onsite in Cambridge two days a week otherwise they are happy for Software Engineers to work from home.
