We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced EUC 3rd Line Engineer to join our client’s Infrastructure team within their expanding Shared Service Centre based in Solihull.

The team provides BAU operational support and project delivery across all infrastructure towers to multiple Public and Private Sector customers.

This role will work closely with customers to assist them in both BAU support and the delivery of new infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

  • To provide BAU operational support across customer platforms, including health checks and reporting.
  • All aspects of SCCM and Intune administration, including automated server/desktop patching and managed desktop deployment.
  • Proactive management of customer EUC environments, identifying potential improvements to deliver increased stability, availability and performance.
  • Managing Incidents, Problems, Requests and Changes in line with ITIL best practices and ensuring that SLAs are maintained.
  • Input into the development of infrastructure roadmaps, customer proposals, impact assessments and statements of work for the delivery of further solutions.
  • Ensure that the customer environment adheres to established standards and frameworks, meeting any compliance requirements at all times.

Requirements:

  • A high level of technical knowledge and experience across IT Infrastructure at an enterprise level.
  • Able to contribute to technical strategy, service development and the provision of innovation, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems and incidents.
  • Detailed technical knowledge of Microsoft SCCM Current Branch and subsequent release versions gained in a hands-on technical support role.
  • Experience of Windows 10 deployment and support of managed desktop environments with SCCM, alongside experience of managing Windows Server 2012/2016, Azure and O365 environments with SCCM and Intune.
  • Microsoft Certification, preferably including MCTS in SCCM
  • ITIL Certification and experience of working within the framework.
