The Role: Privacy Manager – FTC (12 months)
Contract: Contract – 12 Months (possibility to become permanent or roll-over)
Salary: £99k – £105,000 + 18% bonus on target base salary

About Us:
- Our client is one of the largest electronics corporations globally and is currently looking for a Privacy Manager to join their rapidly growing advertising business as an integral part of their data privacy and compliance function for the UK and Europe.
- This role will sit in the business and work together with our client’s Data Privacy Office (DPO), and legal and global product teams to support the data privacy program and support key channel partnering and advertising compliance work streams.
- Possibilities of international travel is likely to be expected.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating, implementing, and managing policies and regulatory compliance
- Working closely with the legal, product, engineering, and sales teams to launch new and complex ad products to market using privacy-by-design principles and conducting data protection impact assessments
- Assisting with onboarding new ad tech and data partners in a privacy compliant and efficient manner
- Sorting legal requests from the business on data protection and compliance matters
- Maintaining records of processing, compliance logs and approval processes
- Designing, developing, and delivering data privacy training for internal partners and external clients
Accountabilities:
- Optimal commercial experience in dealing with data protection and privacy issues in Europe
- Deep knowledge and experience with GDPR and e-privacy directives, especially those relevant to digital advertising and/or broadcasting.
- Demonstrated analytical experience, including experience-assessing risk from a privacy and data protection perspective.
- A results-oriented go-getter who does whatever it takes to get the job done on time.
- Experience managing projects, including prioritising, and working alongside cross-functional teams.
